Mikey Ennen
Art, nature, and the spaces between
Mikey Ennen is an artist and designer based in the Pacific Northwest. His work draws from a life built around mountains, water, and creative practice — from competitive athletics to architecture to the woodcut printmaking that defines his current body of work.
Growing up in the San Juan Islands and the broader Pacific Northwest, the landscapes of the region became embedded in every mark he makes — the contours of ridgelines, the density of old-growth cedar, the movement of water through rocky passages.
His artistic path has been shaped by years of working across disciplines. A background in architecture sharpened his eye for composition, structure, and materiality. Athletics taught him discipline, rhythm, and the value of sustained effort. Those influences converge in artwork that balances precision with rawness, graphic clarity with organic texture.
Today, Mike works primarily in woodcut printmaking, ink, and acrylic. His subjects — ravens, salmon, mountains, shorelines, octopus — are drawn from direct observation and a deep connection to the natural world. Each piece is made by hand, start to finish.
Art beyond the wall
Mikey's artwork has been featured on Liquid Force wakeboards as part of their Artist Series — a collaboration that put his woodcut-inspired graphics onto professional water sports equipment used by athletes worldwide.
He has also designed event collateral for The Summit at Snoqualmie and applied his artwork to phone cases, apparel, and lifestyle products. His process translates naturally to product surfaces — the bold lines and high-contrast compositions that define his prints hold up at any scale.
Future collaborations include flat-packed furniture design, snowboard gear lockers, and deeper partnerships with outdoor and lifestyle brands. If you're interested in working with Mikey, get in touch.
